Track Resource Information

FIRSTâ„¢ uses a database that is completely configurable and allows the user to keep track of critical data on personnel, equipment, training, supplies, ordnance, etc. using user-defined data fields.

Create Multiple Resource Categories and Types


Create multiple Resource Categories such as personnel, equipment, training, supplies, etc. Within these categories, create multiple Resource Types such as captain, firefighter, driver/engineer, paramedic, police officer etc.

Create Attribute Groups for each Resource Type. Within an Attribute Group, define the data fields for the information you desire to track such as last name, first name, rank, employee number, etc. Create relational links between resources to display, for example, mandatory training for a firefighter.

Assign Attributes to Resource Types


Set the position (order) the field appears on the page.

Create four types of data fields for each attribute definition (data field name): text field, text area, date/time, and pop-up menu selection list).

Create Pop-Up Menu Items


For ease of data entry and to insure data standardization, a pop-up selection menu can be created for each data field.
